Adding extras and attachments, including media files, texts, keywords and comments, work the same in the editing dialogs for programs, program versions, series, episodes, episode versions, sequences, companies, persons, trailers, trailer versions, commercials and design elements. The types of extras and attachments available varies depending on the content type.
Attributes, however, are configured customer-specific. Thus, this article covers only the functions named above.

The functions are divided into individual tabs:
1. Media
2. Text
3. Keywords
4. Comment
1 How to add media files
The Media section allows to upload files from the file explorer and from existing assets. In addition, asset and material files can be created by navigating to the Asset App.

By clicking the Add new media button (1), files can be uploaded (2) or searched for (3). If not there yet, assets (4) or material (5) can be created.
Depending on their type, uploaded files will be listed within different categories such as images (6) , videos (7) and materials (8).
1.1 Upload media files
By clicking the Upload media button, files can be added from the file explorer.

First of all, the Add new media button (1) and Upload media button (2) need to be clicked.

For programs and episodes, this dialog appears to select (1) and apply (2) a version. For other content types, this step does not take place.

In the next step, the file can be selected from the file explorer by clicking the Choose a file button (framed).
After selecting the file, it can be specified regarding the name (1), storage (2), S3 Bucket (3), number (4) and material set type (5).
Wann material position type (6) verfügbar?
It is also possible to add a description (7), tags (8) and keywords (9) to the file.
Finally, the file can either be uploaded (10) or discarded (11).
The entire dialog can be exited by clicking the Close button (12).

By clicking the Choose a file button (1) again, additional files can be added. Those additional files will be shown below the previously selected file.
Clicking Global editing (2) allows to edit multiple files at the same time, which will be illustrated in the following screenshot.
The selected files can either be uploaded individually by clicking the respective Upload buttons (3 and 4) or at the same time by clicking the Upload all button (5).

When Global editing (1) is activated, the information about the selected files can be specified globally.
By clicking Choose a file (2), another files can be added for global editing.
Again, they can be uploaded individually by clicking the respective Upload buttons (3 and 4) or at the same time by clicking the Upload all button (5).
NOTE
Material set types are defined in the parameters.
If set as default, parameters will be preselected in the respective drop-down menus.

1.2 Search media files
By clicking the Search media button, asset files created in the Asset App can be uploaded.

First of all, the Add new media button (1) and Upload media button (2) need to be clicked.

For programs and episodes, this dialog appears to select (1) and apply (2) a version. For other content types, this step does not take place.

If asset files cannot be found in the overview table at first glance, they can be searched using the search and filter functions (1) (see Search, sort and filter items).
By clicking the gear icon (2), the table columns of the overview table can be adjusted. By clicking the Excel icon (3), an excel export of the selected table page can be executed.
In order to select assets in the overview table, the respective checkboxes (4) have to be ticked. By clicking the OK button (5), the availability of the selected asset files is checked.

If an asset file is already used in another content, this dialog will appear, offering to add the file nonetheless or to cancel it.
As stated in the dialog, if a file is added even though it is already used in another content, it will be removed from the other content.
This dialog will also appear regarding the other file if it is already in use, as well.

1.3 Create asset files
If assets are not there yet, they can be created by clicking the Create asset button.

Then, the following dialog will pop up, stating that the Asset App will be opened in a new tab. For this purpose, the Open asset button (1) has to be clicked.

This is the dialog in the Asset App where assets are created.
1.4 Create material files
If material files are not there yet, they can be created by clicking the Create material button.

First of all, the Add new media button (1) and Create material button (2) need to be clicked.

For programs and episodes, this dialog appears to select (1) and apply (2) a version. For other content types, this step does not take place.

Then, the following dialog will pop up, stating that the Asset App will be opened in a new tab to create a new material. For this purpose, the Open asset button (1) has to be clicked.

This is the dialog in the Asset App where materials are created.
2 How to add texts
It is also possible to add different types of text in different languages.

The type of text (1) and language (2) can be selected using drop down menus. The text (3) can be entered below.
New texts can be added by clicking the Add new entry button (4). Texts are deleted by clicking the bin icon (5).

All contents appearing in drop-down menus, including text types and languages are defined in the parameters.

3 How to add keywords
Apart from uploading media files and adding texts, keywords can also be added to content.

The first step of adding a new keyword is clicking the Add keyword button (1).
Then, a keyword (2) can be added from a drop-down menu.
Comments (3) can be added to keywords, as well.
Keywords can be deleted by clicking the bin icon (4).

4 How to add comments
The Comment section allows to add extra information about a content.
