Language attribute
Language attributes are created and maintained in Admin > Edit parameter > Language Attribute. These language attributes can be structured in hierarchical order. You can view the tree structure in the dialog Edit license, Tab Rights by clicking on the button 
next to the field Lang. attr..

Please note the following about the dialog Admin > Edit parameter > Language Attribute:
A flag in the column G (group) means that this language attribute is a superordinate group; the window above shows groups and subordinate language attributes in a hierarchic way.
One language attribute can include several languages. The language attribute for Switzerland, e.g., can include the languages German, French and Italian (the tab Admin > Edit parameter > Rights area shows which languages have been allocated to a certain language attribute).
Whenever the flag in the column Is national language is set, the individual language attributes of the rights area are used for the rights query. In our example above, the rights query for licenses with the language attribute „German” would also find licenses with the language attribute „Switzerland” (as it includes - among others - the language German).
