The following article will deal with the functions that can be performed regarding table columns, including:
- Adjusting column width
- Add and hide columns
- Adjusting the positions of columns
- Sorting contents within a column
Changes associated with columns are saved automatically.
1 How to adjust column width
The column width can be adjusted either manually or by using the autosize function in the context menu. Changes in column width are saved automatically.

Columns can be adjusted in width at the marked spot (1) by dragging it to the left and right.

The other option is to right-click a column (1) and click the button named Autosize this column button (2) in the context menu. The column widths will be adjusted based on the widest column.
2 How to add and hide columns
Columns can be hidden or added via the context menu. Changes in that respect are saved automatically, too.

To hide a column, a column (1) has to be right-clicked. This opens the context menu where the Hide column button (2) has to be clicked.

By clicking the plus icon (1) a menu opens where the Add hidden columns button (2) has to be clicked. To display a column, it has to be ticked via a checkbox (3). Clicking the Apply changes button (4) confirms the action.
3 How to adjust column positions
The positions of the columns can either be adjusted by drag and drop or via the context menu. Position changes of the columns are also saved automatically.

1. Here, the column is dropped into the desired spot.

By right-clicking the column (1), the context menu (framed) opens. Here, the column can only be moved to the start (2) or end (3), but not to a spot in between, in contrast to drag and drop.
4 How to sort contents within a column
Contents within a column can be sorted either by clicking the column or by using the context menu. The way the columns are sorted is saved automatically, as well.
By clicking the columns, items can be sorted in the desired order, e. g. according to Content title (1) from a to z and vice versa. The arrow (2) indicates if the order is descending (⬇️) or ascending(⬆️).

The alternative way is to sort a column is to right-click it, e. g. Content title (1), and click sort by (2).

When numbers and letters are mixed, numbers are considered before letters, e. g. Content no. (1) and content serie no. (2).
The order can also be based purely on numbers, e. g or Duration (3).
5 How to select number of items and the table page
Depending on the number of contents contained, tables may contain multiple pages. Therefore, users can select the page and decide how many contents are displayed per single page.

By opening the drop-down menu (1), the number of items displayed per page can be selected.
By clicking (2), the previous page can be selected. Clicking
(3) leads the first page.
By clicking (4), the next page can be selected. Clicking
(5) leads to the last page.
