Assets
The module Assets lets you maintain and edit assets.
Assets are media files which consist of video, audio or image files. Media files can be maintained in two different ways:
| Internal MAM | The uploading and maintenance of assets will be realised with an internal Media-Asset-Management System (MAM). The mediafiles can be uploaded to an internal file storage system and maintained in an internal database. |

| External MAM | The mediafiles are managed with an external Media-Asset-Management System (MAM). The assets are so called placeholders, which access the mediafiles from an external database. |
The following three options are available for maintain and edit assets:
Annotations
Within the module Assets you can create annotations for spoken dialogs, mark specific scenes for movie ratings or to make notes.
Segmentation
Enables the segmentation of video in several segments. It is possible to place ad cuts between segments.
Insights
With the help of Insights results of performed jobs can be displayed and managed. Jobs are assigned to assets and can be performed with the external Azure Media Services.
