The automatic planning can be used to automatically insert or remove elements in a predefined time range.
Overview Automatic planning tab

In the automatic planning tab a list of all automatic plannings is displayed. Each planning has the status finished after being successfully created. After being approved its status is updated to accepted or rejected if the user rejects it.
By clicking on a planning in the list, the view changes to the plan preview, which displays the plan, highlighting current plannings which will be removed (red border), future empty slots (green slots with dashed border) and future plannings (slots with purple border).
The plan preview can be switched into a readonly version of the plan Grid view (see Grid view for more details) to verify correctness of the automatic planning.

Create Automatic planning
The determining factors for an automatic planning are the number of plannings, campaign rules or content specific definitions. See below for details of creation of automatic plannings.
Content specific definitions
Start by defining content specifics for the automatic planning in the content tab of a campaign.
You can decide weather content can be placed either before or after a commercial, either at the beginning or end of an empty planning range, or if the environment is relevant for the planning i.e. the campaign content should only be planned in environments containing specific content or content with specific genres. In case the environment is in fact relevant for the automatic planning proceed by adding content or genres in the environment tab of the campaign.
In order to add content, ensure the sub tab is selected and click the
button.
In the Add content menu, search for specific content using the search field in the upper right-hand side.
Select content by selecting its check box and confirm by clicking on .
In order to add genres, ensure the sub tab is selected and click the
button.
In the editGenres menu, search for specific genres using the search field in the upper right-hand side.

Number of plannings
The automatic planning considers the user demanded number of plannings of a campaign content in a specific time range. In case the current number of plannings does not match the desired number, the automatic planning may remove or insert accordingly.
The number of plannings can be set using the grid view of the planning tab. For more detailed informations see Grid view.
Campaign rules are predefined system specifics, which can be used to plan accordingly. Rules exist for duration, multiple planning of the same campaign or limits on the scheduling time. For a detailed information see campaign rules.
