8.1.10 Parameter VOD DRM

The DRM information for the Video on Demand Scheduling has to be set in the parameters of the ContentExplorer, too. It is possible to define several DRM rules in the parameters of the CE. One of these can be defined as the default DRM rule.

In addition, you can define a default DRM rule for every individual VOD channel. To do this, please open the tab Channel. Here, you can define the VOD-DRM (default) setting for each VOD channel. Enter either a value or an abbreviation.

The DRM information states for example that after puchasing a film the customer can play the film within a certan activation time of seven days and a play time of three hours. A DRM regulation has to be assigned to each film on scheduling the films in the VOD scheduling application.
