    Meta and general data about the topic

    In addition to viewing various data about the topic, you can delegate editing to another person or group , edit the topic title , or assign categories .

    Author or editor

    Next to the page heading ( Edit Topic or Add New Topic ), you'll see who the author or currently assigned editor of the topic is. You can assign editing of the topic to another person or group.

    Assign editing to another person or group

    You can assign an editor or editor group to the topic.

    1. In the menu bar, click the name of the currently displayed person or group.
      → A drop-down menu opens.
    2. Select the desired person or group from the drop-down menu.
      Clicking on the currently displayed name in step 1 simultaneously activates text input mode. You can therefore alternatively type the name of the person or group you're looking for. Often, the initial letters are enough to display a result, which you can select with the mouse. 
    3. Click the Save button.

    title

    The Title text input field contains the topic title. You can change the topic title.

    Change the title of the topic

    The title of the topic can be changed as easily as in a word processor.

    1. Click in the Title input field and edit the text.
    2. Click the Save button.

    Creation date

    The topic's creation date cannot be changed. It is automatically entered by the system when the topic is created. You can find the creation date to the right above the title text input field.

    If the topic was created based on a source (see the Sources tab ), the name of this source will be displayed.
    You can click the downward-pointing arrow on the right side of this display to expand the display. Here you'll find additional information about the source, such as the date it was accessed or hashtags.
    Clicking the arrow again closes the extension.

    Categories

    Here you can see the category the topic has been assigned to. Examples include "Culture," "Politics," "Business," or "Sports." You can initially select a category for the topic or change the category at any time.

    Change topic category

    You can assign a category to the topic, such as “Politics” or “Sports,” or change the assigned category.

    1. Click on “No selection” or on the currently selected category.
      → A drop-down menu opens.
    2. Use your mouse to select the new category from the drop-down menu.
    3. Click the Save button.
