The procedure explained in the following article applies to the following Web Apps:

- Content
- Programmer
- VOD
- Assets
- Sport
- Forecast
- Teamer
- Shield
Topics, Planner, Campaign and Select do not include the option to delete items.
1 How to delete items
Items are deleted via the context menu. This can be done either from the stock of the respective item type or from the Favorite or Folder tab (see the article linked below). The procedure is always the same.
There is a general method suitable for all Web Apps with this function and a special method for VOD and Forecast.
1.1 General method
First of all, the general method is explained.

By clicking the context menu (1) of an individual item, the Delete button (2) appears. Clicking this button deletes the selected item.

1.2 VOD
Deleting items also looks a bit different in VOD App.

To delete windows, the Windows tab (1) has to be accessed first.
Then, an window has to be selected by ticking the checkbox (2).
Clicking the Actions button (3) opens the context menu, where the button stating Delete selected window (4) needs to be clicked.
1.3 Forecast
Removing items from favorites also differs in the Forecast App. Both contents, scenarios and types can be deleted.
1.3.1 Delete contents
This chapter explains how contents are deleted from the schedule scenario.

First, the Planning tab (1) has to be accessed.
By clicking this button (1), a dialog opens where contents of an individual day are shown. This is where contents are deleted.

Now elements can be selected by ticking the checkbox (1).
The Actions button (2) allows to acess the Delete button (3), which has to be clicked.

When clicking the Delete button (3), users will be asked to confirm (1) or deny (2) the action.
1.3.2 Delete scenarios
Scenarios are managed in their own tab, which has to be accessed first before deleting them.

After accessing the Scenario tab (1), scenarios can be deleted by clicking the bin icon (2).

After clicking the bin icon, this dialog will ask users to confirm the action by clicking the Delete button (1). Otherwise, the dialog can be exited by clicking the exit button (2).
1.3.3 Delete types
This chapter illustrates how types, which determine the structure of scenarios, are deleted.

After accessing the Types tab (1), types can be deleted by clicking the bin icon (2).

If the tag has children nodes, it cannot be deleted, leading to the error notification shown in the screenshot.
1.4 Select
The delete function in the Select App has its own design, too.

After navigating to the stock, items are deleted by clicking the bin icon (1).
