Content-Buttons

Every Edit ...-Dialog of the ContentExplorer contains buttons with different functions. This can be found here:

There are the following buttons in the different dialogs:

Mouse Over	Description	Dialog
Create new element	Creates a new element of the same type.	Edit program, Edit series, Edit sequence, Edit person, Edit company, Edit contract, Edit asset, Edit trailer (version), Edit design element, Edit commercial (version), Edit article, Edit folder
Delete active element	Deletes the active element.	Edit program, Edit series, Edit sequence, Edit person, Edit company, Edit contract, Edit asset, Edit trailer (version), Edit design element, Edit commercial (version), Edit article, Edit folder
Shows the create/change information for the active element	Shows the dialog Info on creation and last changes of the program. Here you can see, who created the element and when, and who edited it at last and when. Shows a report on the active element	Enables you to create a report of the active element.	Edit program, Edit series, Edit sequence, Edit person, Edit company, Edit contract, Edit license, Edit asset
Edits periods for the content	Opens the dialog Deadlines. Here you can create deadlines, which will be shown in the MyPage. Launches a workflow for the active element	Opens the dialog Which workflow do you want to launch?. For more information, see 10.1 Employing a Workflow.	Edit program, Edit series, Edit sequence, Edit person, Edit company, Edit contract, Edit license, Edit trailer (version), Edit article
Removes the reference to the series of the program	Removes this program from its series and turns it into a usual program. Afterwards, the program will not be shown in the tab Episodes of the dialog Edit series anymore.	Edit program (only for series episodes),
Creates a copy of the selected series	Copies the active series. Episodes and material will not be copied.	Edit series
Creates a new reel for the selected asset	Creates a new reel, see Reel Number.	Edit asset
Copies the selected asset	The active asset is being copied.	Edit asset
Edits the client information for the current element	Here you can edit, which clients will be allowed to read and edit this element. Lock the current element	This locks the current element. The element can not be edited, until someone removes the lock.
