    Side menu

     

    Click on

    → The side menu will be expanded or collapsed.

    1. Frame tile

    Frame tiles contain the information

    • title
    • length
    • Age restriction 
     
     

    2. Versions

    The Frames section is displayed by default. To switch to Frames from another side menu section, click the Symbol.

    → The Frames section is displayed.

    The Versions section displays the versions valid for the selected calendar period.

    1. Search
      1. Click in the search field
        → A blinking cursor indicates that a search term can be entered
      2. Type a search term
      3. Click on or press Enter
        → The search results for the appropriate versions in the planning period are displayed
    2. Sorting criteria
      1. Click on
        → A dropdown menu with sorting criteria opens 
      2. Click on an item in the dropdown
        → The dropdown closes and the search results are sorted according to the selected criterion
      3. Sorted Ascending/Descending
        The symbol indicates that the results are sorted in descending order ( means ascending).
        1. Click on
          → The results are displayed in descending order and the icon changes to .
        2. Click on
          → The results are displayed in ascending order and the icon changes to .
          The frames can be sorted according to the following categories using the dropdown.
    3. Inventory search
      When activating All Versions, the inventory search is grayed out (deactivated) .
      To search for versions in stock
      1. Click the checkbox of
        → An orange check mark indicates that the inventory search is activated 

        → The search results (from the inventory) are displayed sorted according to the sorting criteria
        With the checkbox inventory search the entire inventory can be displayed
      2. Click the checkbox of
        → The inventory search is deactivated and the search for versions is activated.
    4. All versions
      When the inventory search is activated, the All Versions button is grayed out (deactivated).
      To view all versions
      1. Click the checkbox of
        → All versions are displayed, sorted according to the sorting criteria.

    Tooltip

    1. Move the mouse over a frame
      → A tooltip appears with detailed information about the version.

    Versions can be scheduled to slots (in the plan) using drag and drop .

     
     
     

    3rd slot

    1. Click on
      → The Slots area is displayed

    Slots are the basic elements of the schema. A slot serves as a placeholder for events (scheduled versions) and has a specific start and end time.

    Slots have the attributes

    • name
    • genre
    • Grid
    • Program type
    • Slot color

    Each slot can be filled with advertising breaks.

    Slots can be dragged and dropped into the calendar area for scheduling.

     

    Edit/delete slot type

    1. Hover the mouse over a slot
      → In the top right corner of the slot the symbols appear (Edit) and (Delete).
      1. Edit
        1. Click on
          → The Edit Slot Type wizard is displayed 
        2. Click in the Name field and adjust the name
        3. For genres, grid and program type
          1. Click on
            → A dropdown menu with the possible parameters appears
          2. Click on the desired parameter
            → The parameter is adopted
        4. Adjust slot color
          1. Click on the color circle next to Slot Color 

            → A color selection window appears

             
             
             
        5. Save/Cancel
          1. Click on
            → The changes are discarded and the wizard closes.
          2. Click on
            → The changes are saved and the wizard closes.
    2. Click on
      → The Content Removal Wizard is displayed 
    3. Confirm/Cancel
      1. Click on
        → The wizard closes and the slot is deleted.
      2. Click on
        → The wizard will close and the deletion will be canceled.

    Only unplanned slot types can be deleted.

     

    Add slot type

    1. Click the button
      → The Add Slot Type wizard opens 
    2. Click in the field (a) and enter a name
    3. Optional for (b), (c), (d) and (e)
      1. Click on
        → A dropdown menu with the possible parameters is displayed
      2. Click on a parameter in the drop-down menu
        → The parameter is selected and the dropdown menu closes
    4. Adjust slot color
      1. Click on the color circle next to Slot Color
        → A color selection tool appears 
      2. Click on a color range in the scale on the right
        → The color range is displayed in the gradient square 
      3. Click on a spot in the colored square
        → The color is adopted
      4. Click anywhere outside the color selection menu
        → The color selection menu is closed
    5. Save/Cancel
      1. Click on
        → The changes are discarded and the wizard closes.
      2. Click on
        → The changes are saved and the wizard closes.
    6. Click on the color column to select a color range 

      → The color range is selected and displayed in the color picker on the left
    7. Click on a spot in the color picker 

      → The color is selected
      → The color selection window is closed
     
     

    4. Folder

    Folders can be used to sort and collect versions for long-term planning.

    The available folders are displayed in the Folders area.

    1. Click on
      → The Folders area is displayed. 

    The following functions are available in connection with the folders

    1. Display folder contents

    1. Show folder contents
      1. Click on the folder
        → The folder contents are displayed 
      2. Sort
        The contents of the folder can be sorted and displayed in ascending/descending order.
        1. Click on
          → A dropdown menu opens 
        2. Click an attribute in the drop-down menu
          → The dropdown menu is closed and the folder contents are sorted according to the attribute.
        3. Ascending/Descending
          The symbol indicates that the content is sorted in descending order.
          The symbol indicates that the contents are sorted in ascending order.
          1. Click on
            → The symbol changes from on and the contents are sorted in descending order.
          2. Click on
            → The symbol changes from on and the contents are sorted in descending order.
      3. Click on
        → The folder contents are closed and the folders are displayed again
     
     

    2. Remove folder from list

    Remove folder from list
    Click on
    → Folder is removed from the list

     
     

    3. Edit folder

    Click on
    → The Edit Folder wizard opens.

    1. Click on
      → A new folder is added.
      1. Give the new folder a name 
      2. Assign visibility (see 6.)
      3. Assign user access (see 7.)
      1. Click on any folder
        → The folder is selected 
      2. Click on
        → The folder name becomes an input field 
      3. Enter the desired name and confirm by pressing Enter or clicking anywhere

        → The folder is selected

        → A warning message is displayed 
      3. Cancel/Remove
        1. Click on
          → The deletion process is aborted
        2. Click on
          → The deletion process is carried out
    2. Click in the search field and enter a search area and confirm the search by clicking on or press Enter.
      → The folders are filtered based on the search term
    3. Type selection
      1. Click on
        → A dropdown menu opens
      2. Click on a type in the drop-down menu
        → The drop-down menu closes and the type is selected.
    4. access
      Access controls which users can access the folder
      Access can be public or private be.
      1. Click on
        → Access is restricted from public on private changed (the symbols will also be adjusted).
      2. Click on
        → Access is granted by private on public changed (the symbols will also be adjusted).
    5. visibility
      Visibility controls whether a folder is visible in the folder list
      Visible folders are marked with a Invisible folders are marked with a Symbol marked.
      1. Click on
        → Visibility is changed from invisible on visible changed (the symbols will also be adjusted).
      2. Click on
        → Visibility is determined by visible to invisible changed (the symbols will also be adjusted).
     
     
     
     

    5. Favorites

    Click on

    → The versions marked as favorites are displayed.

    Favorites can be used for scheduling.

    Versions can be scheduled via drag & drop .

     
     
     

    6. Clipboard

    Click on
    → Versions from the clipboard in the inventory are displayed and can be used for planning.

    7. Forecast

    Click on

    → The Forecast area is displayed

      Click on
      → A dropdown with possible scenarios appears
      1. Click on a scenario in the dropdown
        → The scenario is selected
    2. period
      Click on
      → A dropdown with possible periods is displayed
      1. Click on a period in the dropdown
        → The period is selected
    3. Click in the input field and enter a filter term (the filter term must have at least 3 characters).
      → The scenarios are filtered based on the term
    4. Forecast results
      1. Click on
        → Results are expanded
      2. Click on
        → Results are collapsed
      3. Click on
        → The results are fully expanded
      4. Click on
        → The results are completely collapsed
      5. Click on a result
        → The contents of the result are displayed and can be used for planning 
     
     

    8. Schemas

    Click on

    → The Schemes area is displayed

    1. Double-click a scheme 

      → The Edit Schema wizard opens
    2. Edit schema
      1. Click on the toggle
        → The Edit Schema area is released for editing 
      2. Click on in the area (1)
        → A drop-down menu opens with days available for selection.
        1. Click on a day in the dropdown 

          → In the From area, select the first day in the schedule that is to be scheduled
          → In the Until area, the last day in the scheme that is to be scheduled is selected
      3. Click on in the area (2)
        → A dropdown menu opens, offering the choice of weeks in the schedule 

        1. Click on a week
          → In the From area you select from which scheme week the scheme is to be applied
          → In the To area you can select up to which week the scheme is to be applied
      4. Click in the time selection box and enter a desired time
        → In the From area you select from which point in the scheme the scheme is to be applied
        → In the Until area you select up to which point in the scheme the scheme is to be applied
    3. Move schema to target plan
      1. Click on the toggle
        → The Move Schema section in the target plan is released for editing 
      2. Postpone start date
        1. Click in the input field and enter a number
          → The scheme will be shifted by this number of days in the plan when applied
        2. Click the Negative checkbox
          → When applied, the scheme will be moved forward by this number of days in the plan
      3. Postpone start time
        1. Click in the time selection box and enter a desired time
          → When applied, the scheme is moved forward in the plan by this time
        2. Click the checkbox Up
          → When applied, the scheme is moved back in time by this time in the plan
      4. Click the checkbox
        → The scheme will overwrite the current plan when applied
    4. A summary of the selected schema is displayed in the right pane. 

      In the Schemes area, custom schemes can be loaded into the plan by double-clicking.
      Before the selected scheme is applied, it can be edited individually.
    5. Cancel/Apply
      1. Click on
        → The scheme applied
      2. Click on
        → The schema application is aborted
     
     

    9. Wizards

    In the Wizards section, various wizards are available:

    1. Copy channel
    2. Filling gaps
    3. Release plan
    4. Load advertising scheme

    Click on the desired wizard to use it.

    1. Copy channel

    With the Copy Channel wizard, the entire plan can be copied from one channel to another for a given time period.

    1. Define source
      1. Click on
        → A dropdown menu with selectable channels opens
      2. Click on a channel whose content you want to copy 
    2. Click Set Period
      → The Set Time Period page is displayed
      1. Click in the calendar field or on the symbol 

        → The date picker opens

         
         
        1. Click on a field
          → The date is selected, the date picker closes
        2. Click on
          → The previous month is displayed
        3. Click on
          → The following month is displayed
        4. Click on
          → The current day is selected, the date picker closes
        5. Click on
          → The date picker closes, the date field allows direct entry of the date 
        6. Click on
          → The date picker closes
      2. Select a From and To day in the date picker
      3. Click in the From and To time input fields and enter a time 
    3. Click Select Destination
      → The Select Target area is displayed
      1. Click on
        → A dropdown with target channels is displayed.
      2. Click on a channel in the dropdown
        → The channel is selected as the target
      3. Click on
        → The copying process is carried out 
    4. Click on
      → The process is canceled and the wizard selection is displayed.

    The events scheduled in the selected scheduling area of the channel will be deleted before copying.

     
     
     
     
     

    2. Fill in the gaps

    The Fill Gaps wizard can be used to change gaps between events.

    Details

    1. Click on an event in the plan
      → The event is marked (marked events in the plan are highlighted in color) 
    2. (Optional) Press and hold the Shift key and click on additional events
      → Multiple additional events are selected
      To select events in the plan for the function, hold down the Shift key. Left-click to select the desired events. Click on "Define 2 Gaps" to access the next step. 
    3. Click Define Gaps
      → The Define Gaps area is displayed
      1. Click in the time input field and enter a time
        → The entered time determines the distance (gap) between the events in the slot
      2. Click the toggle
        → The events are automatically moved in the slot so that they are evenly distributed in the slot 
    4. Click Define Shift
      → The Shift area is called
      1. Click the radio button of
        → The events are moved down in the slot (later in time)
      2. Click the radio button of
        → Events are moved up (earlier) in the slot
    5. Cancel/Confirm
      1. Click on
        The process is canceled and the wizard selection is displayed again
      2. Click on
        The process is executed and the wizard selection is displayed again
     
     
     
     

    3. Release plan

    The Release Plan wizard can be used to release a plan. The following options are available:

    • Internal release
    • Press release
    • Broadcast planning

    1. Select a period for plan release
      1. Click in the date field (From) or on the symbol
        → A date picker opens
      2. Click in the time selection box (From) and enter a time
      3. Repeat the previous steps for the end date (To) 
    2. Click Select Status
      → The Select Status area opens
      Select the release type
      1. Click the radio button Internal Sharing
        → The release type Internal Release is selected
      2. Click the radio button Press Release
        → The release type Press Release is selected
      3. Click the radio button Broadcast Scheduling
        → The release type Broadcast Planning is selected 
    3. Click Share Plan
      → The Share Plan area opens
    4. Confirm/Cancel
      1. Click on
        → The plan release is carried out and the wizard selection is displayed again
      2. Click on
        → The plan release is canceled and the wizard selection is displayed again
     
     
     
     

    4. Load advertising scheme

    With the Load Advertising Scheme Wizard, advertising blocks can be scheduled for slots or events using advertising schemes.

    Show details

    1. Click on an ad block scheme
      → The advertising block scheme is selected 
    2. Click Define Plan Area
      → The Define plan area area opens
      1. Without selection, the area loaded in the calendar area is considered the plan area
      2. Click the toggle Create advertising blocks only for selected elements 

        1. Press and hold the Shift key
        2. Click the events or slots in the plan for which you want to apply the advertising scheme 
    3. Click Apply Advertising Scheme
      → The Apply advertising scheme section opens
      1. Click on the toggle
        → After confirmation, existing advertising blocks will be deleted, no new advertising blocks will be inserted
      2. Click on the toggle
        → After confirmation, advertising blocks will be inserted on the selected slots
    4. Confirm/Cancel
      1. Click on
        → The advertising scheme is loaded and advertising blocks are overwritten or inserted according to the settings made, the wizard is closed and the wizard selection is displayed again.
      2. Click on
        → The wizard closes and the wizard selection is displayed again.

    The selected advertising scheme inserts advertising blocks into selected events in the schedule according to the given rules. All previous advertising blocks will be deleted.
