The Shield app is an intelligent software solution for the protection of minors. Shield enables the fast, standardized and automatic calculation of the parental control rating for your entire content. It´s based on reusable, country-specific rating matrices. Shield thus minimizes complex repetition during the rating process.
Shield contains the following tabs:
- Stock: In the stock, video files (assets) can be managed, just like in the Assets App (see Stock).
- Screening: Here, annotations can be created to define sections within the video asset that contain scenes subject to parental control. The rating is determined by applying a corresponding, country-specific matrix to the annotated sections (see Screening).
- Matrix: Matrices are required in the screening process for creating annotations and for calculating the age rating classification. They therefore form the basis of every screening (see Matrix).
