Notice:
Movie ratings always refer to a program version (just like assets and their asset positions). Please select the program version in the General tab before making a rating.
To make a rating, please proceed as follows:
- Please check whether the correct program version is selected in the General tab. The selected version will be displayed directly under the program title, as can be seen in the above figure. Change to the tab General in case you have to switch to another program version.
- Select the button Incorporates entry to the list to enter a new line for rating the version.
- Enter the rating authority, the date of rating, the requester, the request date, the request number and the result with the drop down list in the field Rating. You can also assign claims and indexings (flag Indexed; Date).
- You can add a note for each parental rating line.
- By clicking the button Delete entry list you can delete the selected rating line.
You can adjust the options for parental rating in Admin > Edit Parameter > Parental Rating. For each option, you can adjust, when the program is freely available, when it is PIN-code-blocked and when it is completely blocked.
For example, programs which are not advisable for children under 18 years can be blocked completely from 6 am to 20 pm, can be PIN-coded from 20 pm to 23 pm and freely available from 23 pm to 6 am. It is important to make sure, that those times do not overlap and cover 24 hours without interruption.
