Screening

The WebSuite Shield app screens video content. Annotations generated by Shield are used to define sections within the video content containing scenes subject to parental control. The severity of the rating is determined by applying a corresponding, country-specific matrix to the content.

Screening interface

Below the header, the Screening interface is divided into three areas: the Menu area, the Annotation area, and the Media Player.

Menu area

This area is designed for uploading, searching and selecting the assets to be screened. Uploads can be done with or a URL. Assets can be searched, edited and selected.

Annotation area

In the annotation area, screenings of the video content are carried out; i.e. rating information is created. In order to conduct a screening, a matrix must be available as the basis. This is selected after clicking on the tab "Matrix."

Media Player

The Media Player is a video window used for playing content. It's frame-accurate screening lets you create annotations for assets.
