Search layer
The Search layer
The default setting for the menu bar at the upper left of the menu area is the Search layer. This is indicated by the orange color of the "Search" button.
There are two search fields. You can either enter a search term of at least three letters, or search for an asset's reference number.
Entering a search term
Enter your search term in the corresponding field. Episode titles or series titles or other known keywords are well-suited as search terms. Then click on "Apply."
Search by reference number
If the asset has a reference number, it can be searched for. Enter the number in the corresponding field. It is important to remember that reference numbers are dependent on the version of the asset. After entering the number, click on "Apply".
Narrowing down by date / matrix / rating
Your search results can be narrowed down according to the criteria "Date", "Matrix" and/ or "Rating". A search using the matrix is only possible if the program has already been screened. In that case, the matrix to be used must be selected via the drop-down menu in the search layer. Then click on "Apply".
Screening filter
The "Screening filter" can be switched on or off with a slider. This filter gives you even more options for refining your search for specific assets. For example, you can search for the time period in which a screening was started or ended. After entering the data, click on "Apply."
To use the "Select all annotations" filter, you must first select a matrix in the "Matrix" field above it. Below that, in the field "Rating", you can further narrow down the search by selecting specific ratings. By utilizing the "Select Annotation" field, you can find assets that have specific annotations. When you have made all your entries, click on "Apply."
