    Asset filtering / SmartSearch

Extensive filtering is available in all views of the inventory, e.g., searching by age rating, genre, linear planning, etc.

Different filter options are available in the Asset Search view and the Content Search view.

    Create new filter

    1. Click on
    2. Click on
→ The Select Conditions wizard is displayed
    3. Click on the desired filter conditions
→ The selected filter conditions are displayed in the lower area below.
    4. Select filter parameters for the selected filter conditions from the dropdown menus . Some filter options allow multiple parameters (e.g., "Select Rating" filter).
→ The selected filter options now appear below the search. The current filter can be saved with a name in the "My Filters" dropdown list by clicking "Save."
This means it will be available for further filtering in the future and no longer needs to be set up again.
All saved filters are available under “my filters” and can be selected with a single click.
    5. Set filter as default:
A saved filter can be set as the default in the dropdown list of available filters by clicking on the star symbol. This way, the filter will always be active when the page loads.
    6. Reset filter
Click “Reset” to remove the current filter selection.
    7. Deactivate filter
“Deactivate filter” removes the filter and hides the filter bar.

    Edit / delete filters

    1. Activate filter, select desired filter from list under “My Filters”.
    2. Change filter conditions, e.g. by adding further filter parameters or removing a parameter via “x”
    3. Save the current filter under “Save filter”.
    4. Delete filters by clicking on the “X” symbol in the list of saved filters.

    SmartSearches

SmartSearches are predefined filters that can be used at any time for a search. They contain the same filter options as the other filters in SHIELD.
