    Imports and exports

    In the Connect tab, imports and exports can be executed. Using the Programmer and Planner Apps as examples, this article explains how to generally execute imports and exports.

    ℹ️ The selection of jobs and exports is a customer-specific matter.

     

     

    Jobs and exports can be executed in the following apps:

    • Planner
    • Programmer
    • License
    • Content
    • Sport
    • Forecast
    • Campaigns

    ℹ️ Topics, Teamer, Assets, Select and Shield do not include these functions.

     

     

    1 How to execute imports and exports

    This chapter provides an explanation of how imports and exports.

     

    To perform imports and exports, The Connect tab (1) has to be accessed first. 

    On the left-hand side, there is an overview of all the imports and exports available (2)

    In the middle section (3), the import or export selected in the overview can be configured.

    The job log (4), the section on the right hand side, provides an overview of the executed imports and exports and allows to downloaded the generated files.

     

    An import or export can be marked and unmarked as a favorite by clicking the star icon (1). As a result, it will appear at the top of the list.

    The search bar (2) at the top allows to search specific imports or exports.

     

    1.1 Imports

    After selecting an import, the import file can be browsed or added by drag and drop.

     

    During the execution of imports and exports, work can continue. Clicking on the job icon displays the statuses of all jobs.

     

    In this example, content is imported into the plan in the Planner App, so the next step will take place in the Plan tab:

     

    1.2 Exports

    After being selected from the list (1), the export can be specified via the drop-down menu (2).

    Before execution, date, time and service have to be set.

    Finally, the export can be executed by clicking the Execute button (3).

    After execution, the files generated by the job or export can be downloaded via the Download all button (4).

     

    During the execution of imports and exports, work can continue. Clicking on the job icon displays the statuses of all jobs.

     

    2 How to overview imports and exports in the job log

    After the imports and exports have been executed, there will be a summary of data in the job log.

     

    There is an overview of the executed imports and exports within a given time time period, which can be selected via a drop-down menu (1).

    The information about the executed imports and exports is displayed in various columns, including User, Start, End and Status.

    Start and End refer to the execution dates and times of imports and exports. The dates and times are always sorted from newest to oldest.

    The Status column indicates if an import or export has been executed successfully or if an error has occured in the process.

     

    In case of an error, a red icon stating ERROR (1) will appear.

     

    Under Details, By clicking , details of an import or export can be viewed.

     

    Under Files, the files generated by the import or export can be downloaded via the download button (1).
