Media content
Here you can provide image, video and audio files so that you can then insert them into your stories.
The following file formats are accepted:
Image: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp
Video: .mp4, .avi, .mov
Audio: .mp3, .flac, .ogg, .wma, .aac, .wav, .aiff, .mid
The collected media content for your stories is represented by a thumbnail. Clicking on the thumbnail allows you to view or listen to a preview of the media .
In the upper right corner of each media content thumbnail is a hamburger menu ☰. Clicking on this icon displays additional icons to the right. These are buttons for accessing the following functions:
set an image as a preview image for the topic , download the media to your computer or remove it from the collection .
Provide image, video, and audio files for stories
To add your prepared media files, use the corresponding buttons in the Media Content for Stories section.

Click on the button, for example Add Images.
Where do you find this?
→ The “Upload file” file selection window of your operating system opens. - In the file selection window, navigate to the location where you want to save your file.
- Select the file (for example “Photo01.jpg”).

Confirm the file selection with the Open button in the file selection window.
→ The media file is added to your topic. A preview image is added to the collection. -
Click the Save button.

Preview media content
Clicking on the thumbnail of a media asset opens a pop-up window. The media is displayed on the left, and the metadata (title , production date , file name , file size , and storage location) is displayed on the right. For video and audio files, the pop-up window contains a player so you can see the movie preview and/or listen to the audio file.

Click on the thumbnail of a media content.
→ The preview pop-up window opens, displaying the media content in a larger format. A movie or audio file starts playing automatically.
Clicking in the left area of the pop-up window stops and starts the movie/audio file. In the lower left corner, next to the playback position and total duration, you can adjust the playback speed (1.5x, double, half, and original speed) by repeatedly clicking. In the lower right corner is a volume slider that you can drag right (louder) and left (quieter).
- Close the window by clicking the red X in the top right corner.
Set thumbnail as topic preview image
If you created your topic directly from a source, the source's thumbnail is preset as the topic preview image. You'll then see an icon with an orange checkmark in the thumbnail hamburger menu ☰.
You can subsequently make the thumbnail of any other media content the preview image of your topic.

In the thumbnail of the desired media content, click the Set as Topic Thumbnail icon.
→ The photo icon to the right of the hamburger icon ☰ has changed to an orange checkmark. -
Click the Save button.
Where do you find this?
→ The selected thumbnail is now the preview image of the topic.
Download media content file
You can download a media content file to your computer.

Click the download icon in the opened hamburger menu ☰ of the thumbnail.
→ A dialog window of your operating system opens. - Select a location to save the file and confirm the download.
Delete media content

Click the Delete icon (trash can symbol) in the thumbnail hamburger menu ☰ of the media content you want to remove.
→ A pop-up window appears asking "Content will be removed. Are you sure?"
You can cancel the deletion process by clicking the X in the top right corner of the security prompt. - Click the Delete button.
