In order to create multiple segments for placing commercials, ad cuts can be created.

First of all, the editing dialog of ad cuts has to be accessed. This is done by clicking the Edit button (1) in the context menu.

In this dialog, a variety of information can be specified regarding the asset file, e. g:

1. TCs

2. Asset type

3. Asset category

4. Channel activation

5. Add number

6. Audio system

7. Storage

By clicking Open in segmentation (8), the menu for creating ad cuts opens.

The first step to create a new ad cut is to click New ad cut (1). 

Here, the ad cut can be given a name (1), and the number of segments (2) can be determined.

Then, the individual cuts of an ad cut can be added by clicking New cut (1) and specified in terms of time codes.
