2.5 Tab Coloring

The tab color enables you to highlight and color certain scheduled events according to certain criteria, e. g. according to their event status, genre, rating etc. That way you can easily visualize missing allocations or errors in the plan.

Notice:

In order to color the events on the basis of your selection, you need to define the event coloration in the Programmer settings beforehand. This can be done in Admin > Options > Event coloring (5.2.4 Reiter Eventfärbung). The criteria (genres, program types, parental rating etc.) are defined in the parameters of the ContentExplorer.


In this tab you can press the following buttons:

SaveSaves the current program plan.

Layout 1, Layout 2, Layout 3

These three layout buttons enable you to save and activate three different, personalized layouts. With these buttons, you can also switch between these layouts. The layouts can be adjusted in 4.2 Dialog Options.

The following settings from the menu Admin > Options are saved in these layouts:

  • Captions
  • Event coloring
  • Color scheme
  • Flag symbols

Besides, the layouts also save the settings that are activated by the following buttons:

  • Events single-color
  • Event colors by program type
  • Event colors by genre
  • Event colors by status
  • Event colors by parental rating
  • Event colors by production year
  • Event colors by EA/WH
  • Event color by flags
  • Event color by highlight coloring

Events single-colorUses one color for all events in the program plan.

Program type

All events are colored differently according to their program type. You can edit the colors in the dialog Options > Event Coloring.

Genre

All events are colored differently according to their allocated genres. You can edit the colors in the dialog Options > Event Coloring. The event is colored by the first genre in the Dialog Edit program > Parameters.

Status

This options serves to color the events according to their editing status and according to the following event errors (color setting for events preferably in red):

  • All
  • License error
  • Parental rating error
  • Length error
  • Overlap error

You can edit the colors in the dialog Options > Event Coloring.

Parental Rating

Here each event is displayed in a different color according to its parental rating. You can edit the colors in the dialog Options > Event Coloring.

Year

This option allows to color all events in the program plan according to their production year (the classification is done in time periods of 5 to 10 years). You can edit the colors in the dialog Options > Event Coloring.

EA/WH

On activating this function all events in the program plan are colored with regard to their broadcast types such as first exhibition or rerun. It is necessary to save the program plan before. You can edit the colors in the dialog Options > Event Coloring.

Flags

Here you can select the desired flag in a sub-menu. Depending on your selection all events in the program plan are highlighted which carry this flag.

You can edit the flag of an event in the dialog Edit event, tab General. The flags itself can be edited in the parameters of the ContentExplorer (Admin > Edit parameter > Value attribute).

Event color by highlight coloring

On activating this option all events in the currently opened plan are colored which carry the flag Highlighted coloring. This flag is activated in the event dialog. This way you may highlight all events in the plan according to your needs.

Color selected clips

By clicking on the second button all scheduled events of the same program (e. g. a series) are colored. This way all „similar“ events in the plan are highlighted.

Save selective event coloringThis button deletes the highlighting.

Adds clips and series to the color buffer

On activating this button all currently marked clips in the program plan are highlighted in addition to the previously highlighted clips.

Highlights all selectively colored eventsThis button highlights all selectively colored events.
