As broadcast material is available in different formats and no longer exclusively as „tapes”, this term has been changed to „assets” in the documentation.

You can now allocate attributes and value attributes to trailer and commercial versions. These are entered via the dialog „Tools” - „Parameters”. They are then shown in the dialog „Edit commercial version” - „General”; you can activate them via the checkboxes.

When you copy assets, the following information is now copied with the asset: soundtrack, audio system, video system, image format, production date, language.

Any content (programs, series, persons, firms, contracts, etc.) that is listed in the mainframe or data object bar can now be archived. Archived content can be hidden in order to avoid having unnecessary information in the mainframe or data object bar.

The data object bar „Window” now includes four new buttons which enable users to hide certain information according to certain criteria.

The new field „Series reference” (in the dialog „Edit series”, tab „General”) enables users to link a series to another series.

It is now possible to allocate several language attributes (via parameters) and to flag one language attribute as national language.

If a new episode for a series is created via the series episode wizard, the wizard now creates two versions by default: one version as original title (flag OT), one version as title (flag T).

Folders

Until now, it was not possible to delete an element that was still linked to a folder. Such elements can now be deleted; in this case, the link to the folder is also deleted. Whenever an element in a folder is deleted, the folder‘s owner is notified via a message on the start page.

The tab „My Page” has been renamed „Start”.

Rights query

The rights query now offers an additional view:

„Staffelzusammenfassung” (pool seasons). This view pools all seasons if all season episodes fulfil the selected criteria.

Besides, you can narrow your search down to one or several season groups in the tab „editorial”. In this case, only the relevant seasons andsubseasonsof these groups are displayed.

Every user can customize the layout of the software according to his individual requirements. These settings are allocated to the user‘s account and are available on every computer. They can be saved to a file or loaded from a file via the menu Admin > Settings load/save.

The dialog „Edit tape” contains two new fields for „Soundtracks”: „Edit type” (parameters can be created according to customer‘s requirements) and „R128” (flag shows that this tape complies with the German regulation concerning sound volume).

The Content Explorer now also enables the administration of merchandising items via the newly-created tab „Article” (analogous to the tab „Material”). Licenses can also be created for articles; the software uses a specific matrix of rights for this which means that the dialog „License” adapts the matrix of rights according to the respective type of content.

Ad cuts that are no longer in use can be blocked in the Content Explorer via the flag „Previous” (dialog „Edit tape”, tab „Adcuts”). Ad cuts flagged as „Previous” still exist in the system, but are no longer visible for the normal users and cannot be scheduled.

The search function in the Content Explorer has been enhanced: The slider „Docu” now also provides an additional filter option according to rating category.
