The Programmer allows to schedule program/episode versions and series for monthly planning and to set up ad breaks and pricing. The Planner, in contrast, serves to create exact daily broadcast plans.
First of all, there is a stock that provides an overview of program/episode versions and series and allows to manage them in a variety of ways, including:
- Find the desired content by searching, sorting and filtering it
- Edit content
- Add content to folders and favorites
- Archive content
- View information such as inclusion of texts and assets, scheduling or epg exports

The Stock tab (1) can be found in the upper tool bar on the left.
1 How to search, sort and filter content
In order to find particular content, it can be searched, sorted and filtered in the stock. In addition, there are stock filters to search within a particular content type.

The stock includes the standard search (1), sort (2) and filter functions (3). Users can also switch between different a title and list view (4) to display content. There are also individual stock filters to the stock that will be shown in the following.
The standard search, sort and filter functions and stock filters are complemented by the SmartSearch (5) that allows to create filters accessible to all users.
Furthermore, users can determine the page number (6) and number of items displayed per page (7).

Using the individual stock filters, it is possible to search content within particular content types:

With all content types being the default, content types can be selected.
2 How to manage content and its relations
Content can be managed in a variety of ways, including being:
- edited,
- archived,
- added to folders and
- added to favorites
Also, the following relations of a content can be viewed:
- windows,
- scheduling,
- casts,
- texts,
- assets,
- epg exports and
- details
2.1 Edit and archive content
The stock in the Programmer App is similar to that of the Content App. The difference is that it only displays program and episode versions and series, but not sequences since those cannot be directly scheduled.
The context menu of a content also contains the same functions like in the Content App, with the difference that users will be directed to the Content App for editing. Also, deleting is only possible in the Content App.

Via the context menu (1), series and program/episode versions can both be edited (2) and archived (3).
When being archived, content is hidden, but not deleted. It can be displayed again if wished (see Archive items)

When clicking the edit button, the following dialog will pop up, where Open content (1) has to be clicked to open the corresponding editing dialog in the Content App.

2.2 Add content to folders, favorites and to the clipboard
Content can be collected by being added to folders, favorites or to the clipboard.
Once added to folders, favorites or to the clipboard, it can be accessed in the plan to be scheduled:

Via the context menu (1), series and program/episode versions can both be added to a folder (2) and favorites (3).

Once added to a folder or favorites, the respective content can be found in the Folder (1) and Favorite tab (2) in the left-side menu.

By clicking the highlighted area (1), content can be added to the clipboard (2) by drag and drop.

As soon as a content is added to the clipboard, it can be removed by clicking the x (1).
2.3 View relations of a content
Content is associated with a variety of items. The relations to those items can be viewed in the stock, as well, including:
- Inclusion of content in windows
- Scheduling of content
- Ratings of content
- Inclusion of texts and assets in content
- Executed epg exports
- details

By clicking the fields such as Windows (1) or Scheduling (2), the corresponding information can be viewed.
It is also possible to view all relations by collapsing or expanding all contents on a page at the same time:

Content can be expanded by clicking the button in the upper right corner (1).

In order to collapse content, the button (1) has to be clicked again.
