1.3.1 Assign Ad Break Index Numbers

Ad break index numbers can be generated for all ad breaks in the slot template automatically thus being assigned to the individual ad breaks of the slots if the following requirements are fulfilled: The ad breaks are distributed and filled in the following fields:

As soon as these fields are filled the 8-digit coding can be generated. Please select the option Ad break index number > Assign new ad break index numbers to all ad breaks to do this.

  • Please select the first option Assign new ad break index numbers to all ad breaks, if you wish to assign all index numbers to all ad breaks. 

  • Please select the second option Assign missing index numbers, if you have added ad breaks additionally. In this case the index numbers will be generated only for the new ad breaks.

The coding has the following configuration (according to the GFK - Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung or Society for Consumer Research):

Notice:

The index numbers can be generated automatically or entered manually. On manual entry you need to avoid duplicates (Scheme plan/Program schedule > Ad break index number > Check ad break index numbers for duplicates). 2.3 Tab Scheme Plan or 2.3 Tab Program Schedule
