The Teamer App serves to organize different types of events for channels. For this purpose, it is divided into three tabs, including Calendar, Events and Projects.
The Calendar tab contains a grid that reflects the Progammer´s scheduling, including progams, dates and hours. Based on the scheduled programs, events can be added to the grid.
The Events tab, in turn, allows to view events (and projects) by filtering them:

Among the main tabs, the Calendar tab (1) can be found at the leftmost position.
The Calendar tab consists of two main sections:
- Search: The search menu is located on the left and allows to find the desired events using multiple filters such as channels and dates.
- Grid: This is where events are created. There are both top events that refer to an entire day and calendar events that refer either to a specific program or a set time in the grid.
1 Create and edit events
Events in the Teamer Calendar tab are organized into two types depending on their scope. Top events cover a full day, whereas calendar Events are directly linked to a particular program in the scheduling grid or can be placed freely into the grid.
The following chapter will explain how the two event types are created.
1.1 Create and edit top events
The following section covers the creation and editing of top events, which represent events that apply to an entire day rather than a specific program.

By clicking the plus icon (1), which is displayed next to each date in the grid, the dialog for creating top events opens.

In this dialog, the following fields can be filled in:
1. Title: This field serves to enter the name of an event.
2. Public / Sold: These checkboxes allow to futher specify an event. Setting an event as public makes it visible to all users. By setting the Sells flag, an event is marked as sold, which means users should be careful with moving the event.
3. Channel: Here, the channel to which an event belongs is displayed. This field is pre-filled based on the channel(s) loaded in the gird, which is selected via the search menu on the left. Users can only select channels they are permitted to see. This is defined via user rights in the admin panel (see Assign user rights).
4. Calendar: Via this drop-down menu, an event can be assigned to a calendar.
5. Category: This drop-down menu allows to further classify an event.
6. Project: Here, an event can be assigned to a poject.
7. Date from / To: This field serves to specify the time period of an event.
8. Remarks: This free-text field allows to leave any additional ínformation.
9. Add file & 10. File name: This is where files can be added to an event. After being uploaded, the file name will be displayed below.
11. Download & remove: The uploaded file can both be downloaded via the download button or removed via the x button.
12. Add new URL & 13. Url name: By clicking this button, URLs can be added to an event.
14. Open in new tab & remove: Regarding the uploaded URL, two options are available: Via the paperclip icon, the link can be opened in a new tab. Clicking the x icon removes the link.
15. Open: The dot in the Open column allows to set the status of an added file or URL by clicking it. The dot is green by default and turns red when being clicked, and vice versa.
NOTE
Calendar types (selected via drop-down menu) are defined in the parameters.
If set as default, parameters will be preselected in the respective drop-down menus.
Parameters can be accessed and edited by users with administration rights. If you need more information, please contact your admin or our CreateCtrl support.
1.2 How to create and edit calendar events
Calendar events are linked to a specific program entry, or they can be placed freely into the grid. They share the same editing dialog as top events, with one difference: the date section also allows to set specific intervals to control the recurrence of the event.

By clicking the plus icon (1) on a scheduled program, a new calendar event can be created.
Existing calendar events are edited by clicking the edit button (2).

Creating and editing calendar events applies the same dialog as creating and editing top events except for the Interval section (1):
- see chapter 1.1
The Interval section allows to determine how often the event recurs, with the following three options are available via the drop-down menu:
- Once: The event is scheduled for a single occurrence. Only the Date, Time from, and Time to fields are displayed to specify the occurence.
- Daily: The event recurs every day. In addition to the Date, Time from, and Time to fields, a Repeat until date field appears, allowing to set the last date of recurrence.
- Weekly: The event recurs every week on the same weekday within the selected time period, starting on the selected start date. As with the Daily option, a Repeat until date field is displayed to define the end of the recurrence.
Calendar events can also be created with no specific program reference by double-clicking into an empty spot in the grid, leading to the exact same dialog:

The difference is that the time (1) is not inherited from the an associated program. Instead, it is inherited from the spot in the grid the user double-clicks on.
The default length is 30 minutes. In this example from 1:20 am to 1:50 am.
2 How to find events
Both top events and calendar events are located through the search menu. The following filters can be combined to determine which events are displayed in the grid.
In order to display events, the following filters are available:

In order to find the desired event, the calendars (1), channels (2) and time range (3) set in the search have to match those set in the event:
- 1. Calendar: Via this multi-selection dropdown, one or more calendars can be selected.
- 2. Channels: This multi-selection dropdown allows to select one or more channels. If multiple channels are selected, they are displayed parallelly in the grid. Users can only select channels they are permitted to see. This is defined via user rights in the admin panel (see Assign user rights).
- 3. Date & Days: While the Date field allows to determine the starting date in the grid, the Days field serves to narrow down the time span starting from the selected date.
In addition, the following fields are available to further specify the search:
- 4. Time from & Time til: The Time from field allows to define the starting time on the respective days. The times are indicated in hours, ranging from 12 am (0 hours) to 11 pm (23 hours). The Time til field allows to define the end time on the respective days. The times are indicated in hours, ranging from 1 am (0 hours) to 12 pm (24 hours).
- 5. Template: Via this drop-down menu, a template can be selected.
- 6. Highlight: This multi-selection dropdown allows to select one or more attributes (with highlights reflecting attributes set for progams). Only program events with all of the selected highlights will be shown as a result. Attributes are set for (program) events in the Programmer via the event settings (see Manage attributes).
- 7. Increase time unit & 8. Decrease time unit: Increase the time unit means that the individual minutes and therefore the events are displayed larger, leading to smaller gaps between times in the grid (e. g. from (e. g. from 4:15 am to 4:30 pm). Decreasing the time units, in turn, means that the individual minutes and therefore the events are displayed smaller, leading to wider gaps between times in the grid (e. g. from 4:30 am to 5 pm).
- 9. Increase font size & 10. Decrease font size: These two buttons allow to increase and decrease font sizes of channel displays, dates and events.
The search parameters can then be applied or reset by clicking the corresponding buttons.
After applying the search filters, the corresponding events are displayed in the grid:

By clicking on the event, event data such as time span (1), title (2) or calendar (3) can be viewed.
By clicking the edit button (4) on an individual event, the editing dialog opens where event data can be updated and re-saved.
By clicking the delete button (5), events can be deleted. The system will ask for confirmation before the event is deleted.
