All applications have been materialized, so that content can be shown faster. This causes the following changes:

• You can now search for content without the leading %. Read more here.

• The layouts are not the same in each view. So you can search for a program and will see the same columns in the results area and in the details area.

  

• Your user-specific view of the results and details area can change after the update. If you do not want to lose the familiar list view of columns in the results and details area you created for yourself, we recommend saving your personal views before the roll out of the new version. In order to save your personal views, please proceed as follows:

  BEFORE CreateCtrl ContentExplorer Update
  
  1. Go to the results area and right click the column header
  2. Select Save layout > File.

  
  3. Select a destination folder that you can find later.
  4. Enter a name for the view (e.g.: Program_View) and proceed with Save.
  → An XML-File will be saved at the destination folder.
  5. Repeat these steps for all other views that you want to save. For example, if you work with programs and series a lot and have a specific layout of columns there, save your layout for programs and for series.
  
  

  AFTER CreateCtrl ContentExplorer Update
  When you first start CreateCtrl Content Explorer after the update, the columns of the results and details area may not be like in the old version. To retrieve your personal view, please proceed as follows:
  
  1. Right click on the column header.
  2. Select Load layout > File.

  
  3. Select the destination folder, where you saved the exported XML-File before and select the XML-File you want to import and proceed with Open.
  → Now your personal column layout will appear.

• If you remove a user from a user group, there will be a delay of 15 minutes until the changes are active.

• If you rename a parameter (e.g. you rename a Genre), all affected data will be processed. The status of this processing can be seen in the status bar.
  The number means, how many entries need to be processed. As soon as the status bar is green, the details and results area is up to date.
• A button Materialize database has been added. This button is only accessible by CreateCtrl in case of troubleshooting.
  

The search is now divided in a normal search and a text based search. This will make the normal search faster, but enables you to quickly access the text search as well. The search options have been edited as well, to comply with the new search.

The deadline pattern and the utilisation pattern are now in the tab Tools and can only be configured by administrators.

You can now search for offers and look at them in the results area. The details area can show the relevant content to the offer.

The interface Connect HMS has been added.

Windows can now have program versions. This is helpful for VoD windows.

The rights in the availability analysis in the details area can now be filtered by scheduling objects and articles.

The new option Exclusive availability of the Availabilty Analysis can calculate the availability of non-exclusively sold licenses. If you active the flag Exclusive availability, non-exclusive rights are treated like exclusive rights.

The feature Multi-Edit Parental Rating can now create entries for multiple program version at once.

You can now add database functions to folders, which show database content. The following database function have been implemented for the folder type Program:

• p_ordner_inhalt.MaxLizenzBeginn: Shows the license begin of the license of the program (if there are multiple licenses, the one with the newest begin date is taken)
• p_ordner_inhalt.MaxLizenzEnde: Shows the license end of the license of the program (if there are multiple licenses, the one with the newest begin date is taken)
• p_ordner_inhalt.MaxLizVertragsBez: Shows the name of the contract of the license of the program (if there are multiple licenses, the one with the newest begin date is taken)

There is now a new standart import, with which you can import new data.

The tab Programs in the dialog Offer now shows the version type of added program versions and when and by whom the status of the program was changed in the WebSuite Tool Select.

A new system parameter WINDOWTYPE_DEFINES_WINDOW_NONLINEAR was created, with which you can define, whether a window type is linear or non-linear. This information is then used in the details area License > Window. Before, the channel of the window would always define, whether a window linear or non-linear.

The License formula notifications now also show you the name of the formula.

You can now view the details of matrix of rights entries, without having to unlock the license.

You can now view VOD takes in the details area.

You can now delete persons in the Episode-Change-Wizard. With the flag Overwrite existing data, you can select, whether you want to overwrite or the existing persons of the other episodes or not.

You can now see the documents of other program versions in the tab Documents. These are colored in grey and can not be opened.

Individual folder fields can now be edited in the results area.
